A friendly atmosphere with attentive staff who went out of their way to help us. The meals were hearty and satisfying, perfect for fueling our activities. the shared bathroom needed more attention and some areas felt a bit worn out. Great for a short stay but could use some updates.

Decent size rooms with a homely feel to them. The connected pub offers good value meals, perfect after a long day.
Room temperatures dipped at night, making it uncomfortable without extra blankets. Shared bathroom layout isn't ideal, with slow light activation and inconsistent shower temperatures. The steps to the second floor rooms present a challenge for those with mobility issues, and I'm not keen on finding cobwebs in a supposedly cleaned space. Breakfast hours didn’t suit my schedule, leaving me scrambling for options nearby.

Local charm and warmth
The owners are super friendly and welcomed me like family! The breakfast was delish, all homemade and fresh. My room was clean but kinda tiny, and had to share the shower, which was a bit awkward with noisy neighbors. The vibe is really local, and the bar area is cozy. Loved it overall!
